Payment Policy

All successful overseas applicants to any of our programmes are required to pay an administrative fee of £300 and full first year tuition fee to accept their place. We strongly recommend that once you have received confirmation of an unconditional offer from us, you pay your fee as quickly as possible to secure your place at Manchester Victoria College (MVC). As soon as we receive your payment, we will issue your CAS letter and you'll be able to begin your visa application (if applicable) - the payment of your deposit will help support your visa application and demonstrate your commitment to study at Manchester Victoria College to the visa authorities.

You can pay your payment:

• By post (5 working days to reach MVC’s account once received): by cheque or bank draft (payable to ‘Manchester Victoria College’ to: Finance Department, Manchester Victoria College, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 9NH, UK)
• By telephone (3 working days to reach MVC account): using a credit or debit card on +44 (0) 161 209 8118
• Online (3 working days to reach MVC account): using your credit or debit card online here
  Bank transfer (5 working days to reach MVC’s account once received): you can send the funds directly from your bank.
• In person: if you are in the UK you may also pay your deposit by cash to our cashier on campus but please do not send cash in the post and be very careful if carrying large amounts of cash with you.

When we receive your payment, your receipt number and details of amount paid will be confirmed on your visa letter.

Progressing Students

Progressing Students will now have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship with the Manchester Victoria College; this is available to students who successfully complete a full-time course of study at Manchester Victoria College and decide to progress onto another full-time course with us. For students that are awarded the scholarship Manchester Victoria College will give discount for their tuition fees and provide 2-3 hours language support a week or organise one to one support where possible. Please contact a member of the admissions team for more information about this opportunity.

Preventing Hardship

To prevent financial hardship students must not travel to the UK, or begin a course of study, without making sure that they have enough money to cover all tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of their programme.

Under the Tier 4 of the Points Based System policy guidance all ‘Adult students’ studying outside of London must show the following financial evidence:

Tuition Fees for full-time Further Education (FE)	£5,000,- £6,000
Accommodation and Living Costs for 9 Months (£800 per month)	£7,200
TOTAL	£12,200 - £13,200

Manchester Victoria College does not have any funding available for international students who do not have enough money for the whole of their studies.

Visa Extensions

Refunds

MVC will be pleased to refund you the payment of fees for the amount you have paid, in the only circumstance that your Visa has been refused. We will not refund your deposit for any other reasons, including but not limited to failure to enrol, changing to other colleges, or using fake and/or fordged documents.
To obtain a refund, you must write to the Administration Office, stating your case and providing evidence (e.g. notification of a visa refusal).  Please note that we reserve the right to retain the £300 administrative fee from your refund. Please note also that if you use your CAS letter to obtain entry clearance to the UK, and subsequently do not register with Manchester Victoria College, you are not entitled to the refund of your deposit.

Students made an ‘Unconditional Offer’ will require a payment to secure their place on the course and so MVC can release a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies letter to support their visa application.
